An extraordinary dish that combines the creamy mildness of burrata with the sweetness of Williams Christ pears and the nutty aroma of porcini mushrooms. Rounded off with buttery thyme and a hint of lemon, this is an elegant appetizer or a luxurious side dish that will delight your taste buds.
Ingredients
1 fresh burrata, 1 Williams Christ pear, sliced porcini mushrooms (fresh), butter, fresh thyme, salt, pepper, lemon juice, red onion (preferably La Tropea), honey, balsamic vinegar, dried thyme

Instructions
1. Slice the pear and porcini mushrooms. 2. Heat butter in a pan to about 60°C. 3. Sauté the pear and mushroom slices with fresh thyme, salt, and pepper in the warm butter until they are tender and have absorbed the flavors. 4. Refine the mixture with a few drops of lemon juice and arrange on a plate. 5. Place the burrata on top of the warm mushroom-pear mixture. 6. For the onions: Briefly sauté sliced red onions with a little honey and balsamic vinegar in a separate pan, then sprinkle with dried thyme and add to the dish. 7. Serve immediately, possibly with toasted garlic bread or as a side dish.
Important Warning!
Only use clearly identified edible mushrooms. If you are uncertain about the mushroom species, be sure to consult a mushroom expert!
